how do you make shorty choppy layers blend in?
i recently got a bob. the back is to the bottom of my neck, a little shorter even, and the front is to my collar bone.
I asked my hair dresser to cut some layers in my hair so the bottom didn't look so poofy. but it turned out choppy. i have thick hair so hair dressers usually cut my layers choppy.
what kind of layers should i ask for when i go to get my hair cut again?
and how do i make my short choppy layers blend in more?

To make it not choppy, you could smooth it down with a hair serum like one of these:
