Any way to lighten a wig's color?
I purchased a dark brown wig on eBay, but the wig that I received in the mail was jet black. It doesn't seem like opening a claim to get my money back will work, so I'm wondering what my options with the wig itself is.
Now I'm stuck wondering if there's any way to make my black wig LOOK dark brown? I've heard spray painting will ruin a wig, and I think the wig is too dark to have the "dark brown" hair spray dye that Joann's sells show up on it. I might be able to sew in lighter springs to make it look deeper, but that may be more trouble than it's worth. Help??
